I wrote this after I read a review from another author. I described the feelings I felt.

My eyes just tear up with emotion
as I read all your grand reviews.
“Someone really cares for my writing.”
“Someone else likes my point of view.”

In my heart I hold most dearly
the encouraging words you send
They ignite the spark within me
“I will stay with you ‘til the end.”

You’ve become my daily ritual.
I look forward to keeping in touch.
I enjoy getting more GP’s.
I adore sending them so much.

Adventure greets me at daybreak
as I rush through my morning chores.
“What marvelous poem can I write?”
“What story, I pray, will outpour?”

I believe you’ve become my Muse
for I see the results produced.
Writing each day was a challenge.
I’ve now got a wonderful truce.

“Thank you” whom ever devised you
A place in this world you have made
Forever I will commend you
At your feet my trophies are laid.
