A write describing Jacob's struggle with God at Jabbok Brook and obtained.
I've been so long at this Jabbok Brook,
My God, You won't let me go.
The blow you struck threw my life out of joint,
'That in you, My life would grow.'

But I'm limping in pain, I can barely walk.
'I've hurt you that you might now live,
not as you were, but who you are now,
with the new name and character I give.'

'Consecrate your life, My grace will remain,
I'll dwell in the temple you are.
The same Voice that spoke on Mt. Tabor that day,
lives in you, no longer afar.'

'Have ears to hear, there are many voices,
they'll beckon you to come near.
Still remain in My Word, abide and obey,
you're My child, you have nothing to fear.'
