Answer to my Prayers

Every night I say a prayer and ask the Lord above
For someone to be faithful, honest and true , someone I could love

Someone to love above all others , Someone meant for me
Was starting to think I did not deserve it , just was not meant to be

It was not meant to be so I gave up , Figured no one cared
Then to my dismay I looked up and you were standing there

You were standing right in front of me , your arms open wide
We have been together several months now , always side by side

Side by side we have discovered , a wonderful love so new
I can' t see me without you , I' d be totally lost it' s true

I' d be totally lost without your faith in me and your love
You are the answer to my prayers , sent from above

Sent from our Father above , He granted me one dream
You are all I have prayed for , meant just for me it seems

It seems our love can last forever , something so real and true
I have seen it in your eyes when you look at me , I know you feel it too

If you feel it too then maybe I' m the one meant for you
You don' t know what to say about some of the things I do

Some of the things I do to make you happy , to take good care of you
You said you were not use to this, it was all so brand new

So brand new and amazing this love I feel , God finally came through
