A poem about a tree I think sucks but my mom and 6th grade teacher like.
A mighty tree so big and tall
But once ago it was so small
To humans it’s a boring tree
To animals it’s a home for free
A squirrel runs up it to hide from a dog
I sit under it after a jog
A tree is a home
It’s not alone
A tree is my friend
‘Til the very end
