Looking deep withing wanting to find a reason to carry on

Can't remember the last time I was happy; when I felt no fear and saw a light at the end of the tunnel.

When I felt my words were being heard instead of going through and through.

When my heart didn't break from rejection or lack of feeling from another.

When I was not lying in bed thinking I did something wrong blaming the way I looked, felt or said.

Too many thoughts inside my head when all I want is quiet so I can sleep.

Without the thoughts that plague day in and day out.
