This should be quick and painless.
How many words can you fit in a thrity minute conversation?

Oblivion teaches the girl the art of infinite patience

I learn the luxury of anonymity, the freedom of no expectations

I can't afford to lose the time you think you are wasting

But I can promise to be a better student

I bargain with Time, chase Happiness and bribe Dreams

Love and Optimism ran off when we failed to agree

Persistance says to follow, Common sense says they run faster than me

Pride hides the regrets that Dignity would prefer not to see

These days when I hear your name, I think about the story

We are waiting at the pier for an endless night to finish

I am afraid of the water for the endless possibilities in it

You are afraid my interest has come to it's limit

We both mourn the passing of these wasted minutes

I won't go near that water as long as you stay close to me

Life happens, the girl masters patience

Turns out he got tired of waiting

Reality came and stole Infatuation

Clarity replaced Fascination

I am just everyone else

I know now your biggest fear was me

I visit the pier with Apologies

Love and I can finally agree

That Kindness means to set you free

I reach for a hand that isn't there

And the girl walks into the water
