i wrote this after an encounter of sexual abuse.
Dark figures illuminated
Shadows of the past return
I am mutilated
Violated to the core of my being
Raped of integrity
Dignity
Righteousness
My mind screams
Yet my lips numb
Paralyzed by outward acceptance
Deep trenches of hollow sadness
Unjustified
Mortified by one truth
Forgive me
A liberated woman come forth
Transpiring sexuality

Death be her bridge between
Love & Living
