“The Letter’s Reply“

I wrote a letter once before.
Waiting for a reply, I thought.
And in my waiting, I thought more,
Of the reply of which I sought.

The time flew by with moments passing,
And still no reply was read.
My heart was broken as if crashing,
So I wrote another instead.

And as if that was all it took,
Two letters holding consistent,
I found that joy that my heart took,
And the reply was never so distant.

It came to me revealing in mind,
That I was filled with love.
To this reply of no other kind,
A reply that come from above.

The message came so loud and clear,
Directly turning around my lift.
Stay strong to all that you hold dear,
Never running but facing your strife.
