Reflections of the Moon

In the reflection of the moon
I feel the light breeze over my tears
As the stars shine I see your face
For one moment in time
I feel free once again
The blue in the sky
Seems so far away and can not be described
Like your eyes once seemed to be
As my voice speaks these words
They echo to meet you
As my knees fall to the ground wanting you near
So I can hear my heart beating once again
As I feel the shadow of your heart come over me
I look to the sky and the moon reflects down on me
Smiling down
Setting me free
