Held down,
Tied down,
By an everlasting pull,
A pull of greed and power,

Pull is so hard,
Like trying to run away,
But can't,
It calls,

Greed and power,
Is it worth it?,

And it begins to hurt,

It hurts like someone is choking you on the inside,
