Fly Away

I want to fly away from here,
to somewhere where the air is clear of

pain, ridicule, fear and judgement.

To somewhere where I can be free of these inner turmoils,
the confusion I feel inside.

I need to get away, away to a place
where I can live
in peace.
Somewhere pure.
Somewhere with people that care.

The wings to bear me up, those non-existent
soul-strings,
Slowly deteriorating before they can stretch and
fly.
Soaring, forever stifled by pain.
