A Contest Within a Contest

Look at this picture, of a woman in a white tank top, her skin young and firm and tan. Perspiration glistens on her forehead; make that sweat, honest sweat. She smiles around her mouth guard, a very important thing to have in place while doing battle of any kind. Her arms, hands clad in boxing gloves, are raised in a sign of victory.

What does it do to you, to look at this picture? Can you feel the elation, the pride?

Entry #1: The Battle over Fat!

Entry #2: I want to win at housekeeping, battling those dust bunnies and the buildup of junk mail.
