A humorous poem I wrote for my mom on Mother's Day 2006. |
Mother, Mother how I love you so How can I speak of the many reasons for this love? You are a great mother There is none other as great as you You are my favorite Jew! You have great humor, or so that is the rumor Most of all, I have great love for you. Mother you are “tight” That is quite So tonight I would like to let you know that you are amazing You are so amazing, in fact, that you are blazing You seem bequiled to help out even just one child In your work, you may still go berserk I still love you so I wish to bestow this upon you That you have a happy mother’s day Though I hope you never have to wear a toupee This is my first serious poem It gives me so much thirst I feel compelled to write this poem I hope it is polite I know I may get into too much trouble I have trouble conveying my feelings So today, I hope to portray That through MY troubles I shall just give quite the sigh That I will be alright You are my mom You are DA BOMB From me to you I say to thee Mother I love you very much So much that I am due to Hand you a present and this poem Because I simply meant That I love you very much. ---- I know it's not perfect, it's one of my first poems. |
