No you won't
The sun tells me rise and shine
And pulls me out of sleep
Enthusiastic about what's to come
Father tells me to get ready
So I pull up my gear
Hop in the shower and put it on
I'm ready to go
It's my first time
A great day for a father and son
He tells me I'll catch
The bright morning fish
In the middle of the parked lake
On my first try
On the boat, we sat for hours
Continuously changing what they want
Nothing comes up and a tear fills my eyes
"Don't cry" father says
I need to be patient
My rod enters once more
With their favorite things
Once again, waiting...
I know I'll catch it if I'm patient now
Stop taunting me...
Now I look over and see
That my father is no longer there
He'll never know..
But I know I'll catch
That bright morning fish
Someday...
