Holy is the Lord God Almighty Holy is Your Name Oh Lord Your Name is to be praised above all the earth What is man that you are mindful of him We are nothing, like grass We wither away quickly Man is so weak, wavering from idea to idea There is no stability, no strength in man. Yet you have chosen to love, To pour Yourself out To die for dust. You have reveled Yourself Have poured out Yourself That this frail, this temporary person may worship You May worship, or turn their back on the King of Kings The Lord of Lords Splendor and Majesty are embodied in You Glory and Power all belong to You When You speak, the earth trembles At Your command mountains fall The sea stills Everything in creation shows Your glory, Your creativity, Your beauty The creation shows the Creator One look at the intricacies At what you have made And only the most determined can hope that You do not exist The most we discover the complexity of the most simple molecules Let alone the awesome complexity of man The more difficult and the more frantic, The skeptics are at finding a legitimate way to deny You For all of creation points to You |
