A cold world, what can escape?
I can hear the stars shivering
Crying to the sun
The moon wants a blanket
But there is none
At least they’re up there
Not here
My armor isn’t warm
And that’s all I have to wear
My freezing hands pressed to
A frozen blade
The gloves I have
Feel used and strained
The cold gets through my skin
To me deep inside
Freezing my frozen heart
And my lungs as well
I can’t move a muscle
Its frozen to the bone
My fire spell wont light
My water frozen to stone
I think I hear the last bird
Flying for its life
But nothing will escape
This cold hard world of
Ice
