Children Are A Wonderful Thing

Children, are a wonderful thing.
Just watch and see what they bring.
It’s a wonderful thought,
A wonderful sight,
Even when they complain
And fight.

A child watches with wonder,
As a butterfly takes off and ponders.
It’s incredible to see
The curiosity
On their face when something’s new
Or someone’s blue.

Parents complain and parents plead,
For the good child they need;
But all children are good and bad,
And life goes on and on.
When GOD decides it time for them,
We remember only the good in them.

For every child is precious in your eyes,
And that is how he’s answering “Why”?
Just to show how adored they can be
When they are lost to you and me.
He also shows what’s best for them,
And that’s a place right there in Heaven.

And you know just like I do too,
That this was his plan for me and you.
To live our lives with so much love,
For a child who’s gone above.
Shows us both what to do,
For people we love more than two.

We give them our love and,
We give them our hearts.
Afraid if we stop they too will part.
But as you can see they are still here,
So there is no more reason to fear.
