This is the ending to the begining
Wherever I would look their would be the Penguins. Even after the Cold War was over, they still desired to show themselves to me. It wasn't because of my past, it was because they wanted my blood. For I am The Great Vernilyn, friend to none, fiend to many. It wasn't before too long the Penguins knew the where-abouts of my residents so I had to do the only thing I could do.

It was 1am.
When I awoke I gathered my greatest possession my sword Ivo. I knew the Penguins would be coming for me when the horizon would rise. I left the house with the doors unlocked at set out to Alexandria.

When I got to Alexandria I met a stray boy named Red. Red offered me his services but I refused them at first, but then Red told me about during the Cold War his parents were taken away and he has been living with foster parents that hated him. They hated him so much everyday they would make him wear clothes made out of paper and force him to go into the market and steal bread, spices, vegtables, and whatever they needed from the kiosks, so he decided to run away but he needed a noble warrior to protect him and he would offer all of his services to whoever this noble warrior may be. I then accepted his services but I told him that I was not a noble warrior, that I was just a pariah. It seemed like to me that this boy had determination and would do whatever he could to get away from this town.

As we were leaving town I heard a horrid scream, a scream some might say was as deadly as the Song of the Sirens comming from the tavern. I told the boy to wait outside while I went outside to see what the cause of the scream was. Right when I opened the door, I saw a Penguin, standing there with two his flippers on the heads of two small children. The moment my hand touched Ivo the Penguin simply snapped the children's necks as if they are two twigs and the the bodies of the children fell to the floor as if they didn't have a single bone in their body. The Penguin lunged at me with great speed but before the Penguin could take his next breath Ivo was peirced straight through his gut and out the back. I pushed the Penguin off my sword and twisted it's head then dug my fingers into his eyes sockets. When I unmasked the beast it was Old Man Jenkins, the town drunk! I looked at him and said, "Old Man Jenkins, what are you doing here?" and the old man simply replied "Those are some legs you got there baby, and I would of gotten away with it too if it wasn't for you medling kids!"

The End.
