I Thought You Were My Friend

Ignoring his girlfriend, Josh walked around the block and remote area several times. She watched him intently, wondering what was wrong with him. He seemed mad about something, but she couldn't tell what. In her mind, all she wondered if it had to do with her.
All of her friends reassured her it was nothing. She asked two of her close female friends to go ask Josh what was wrong. When they returned, they said he would tell her later. Now she was worried.
Later, she noticed hickies spread all over his neck... not from her own mouth. Claw marks were there as well. In the store, she confronted her friend Carmelina, and the girl admitted up front that the marks were from her. Doesn't she care about MY feelings? the heartbroken girl thought. He left her for Carmelina that day. The girl had lost a dear friend and a guy she really liked.
