Sometimes it takes moving foward to accept what's been put behind.
Hello good Sir, do you think you could spare
A moment for me? Not too long I swear.
You see I'm in some doubt and
I don't know my way out and
They told me redemption was over there.

Who are they? Well I can't recall faces
But I met them back just a few paces
I asked for their time and they
Gave me a rhyme and yet they
Were far kinder than most other places.

Oh that's merely a field, yes I can see
Then where do you think redemption could be?
Over to the East you say?
Just another day away?
Thank you, Sir, for your generosity.

You ask for my name Sir? I cannot say
For I am on the run and not far away
Is a place that I dread and
By those I wish dead is a
Shell of a past that must forge a new day.
