what is love anyway
the slight pitter-patter of a heart
when he walks by
the breath quickening
the stomach flip-flopping
the head spinning
what is love anyway
is it that first kiss
the one that knocks
you off your feet
is it when
you find your
soul mate
that person you will love
for life
when do you know
when you got love
will it hit you suddenly
when you lie beside each other
supposedly sleeping
or will you be alone
and just know
that you’ve found your one and only
don’t tell me what love is
