The Hero

Feeling the fires of hate
The demon breathes again
From deep within the dream-world state
The hero makes his stand
And as the vision fades to grey
He loses the upper-hand

Punished for no simple crime
Sentenced for his lifetime
He looks about his endless cell
The epitome of living hell
Only then does he realize
He is a child, in a world of lies

Looking for answers along the way
A sign
A symbol
Or just the key
The end draw near
The destination become clear
The door is opened….
And nothing
