What gift can I give You Holy Emmanuel?
That'll compare with my freedom from hell?
I was confused You set my mind at ease.
I want to give my love for a gentle peace?

You've guarded and directed me each year.
Each time I was burdened You lent an ear.
My piggy bank is broken not much for a gift.
even if I had an idea what to honor You with.

You have no need for ties,or gold cuff links.
You don't need a Christmas card that sings.
My gift must be greater than Wal-Mart holds.
Not cheap or tacky, or too easy to bestow.

There must be a gift worthy You would like?
I've gone over all I have nothing seems right.
So above all other gifts none could be better.
than to offer my heart to You now and forever.

Jesus I offer my love on Your star-lit birthday.
So accept it dear Jesus Christ I humbly pray.
It is Your Holy birthday meant for You today.
That comes once a year for people to obey.
