Poem for the lover who always was and never will be.
Your lips meet mine,
Tenderly embracing,
Breaths becoming one,
Pulling away slowly.

Your lips begin a trail,
Tracing my curves,
Heating my skin,
Anticipation building.

Your fingers send shivers,
Joining your lips in journey,
Lightly caressing,
The promise of what is to come.

Your tongue darts out,
Finding its way,
Fluttering delicately,
Overwhelming my senses.

You encase me,
With all of you,
Bodies wraped together,
Into a euphoric dance.

I am awake,
The warmth of phantom kisses,
Lingering upon my skin,
Sighing for a dream.

I thirst for you,
The one I will not have,
Suddenly cold,
Missing what isn't.

I hate the fear,
Driving you away,
Leaving a shell,
Never to be filled.

For the one who was always in another world and always will be in my heart.
