Inspired by lifes simple happenings. Needs work but humourous.
When walking down my path one night,
I heard a crunch under my right,
Bending down I failed to see,
What I had broke so clumsily.
No matter what, I let it be,
Until crunch, crunch,
Hmm, that made three.

A ghastly sight I did spy,
As feet below greeted eye,
Ingrained quite clearly upon my shoe,
Was a widespread splat of insect goo.

Quite a mess the thing had made,
Especially on my well groomed suede,
So miffed was I with this stain,
That I became all insects bane,
And if another crossed my path,
I vowed to strike in vengeful wrath.

As I finally reached my door,
I counted two,
Then three…!
No four…!
Little snails there they sat,
I thought and pondered, then went SPLAT!
