A broken Woman
Just this morning her lips touched mine
Our bed still warm where we slumbered as one
We were lovers
Just like any other
We parted to meet later that day
I took the subway
She rode the bus
I smiled as I enjoyed her scent
It had lingered on my sweater
When she hugged me and said "Good-bye"
I screamed in horror
as the debis from the bus flew at me
I fell to my knees as a broken woman
Will people feel my pain
No reverend
It wasnt our love that was to blame.
