#1 DAD

*Note from author* my dad is always saying how he doens't have any 'worlds greatest dad' stuf- so this year for c-mas I've decided to get him a little book from halmark full of daddy quotes. I also wrote him this poem, which is all too true! enjoy!*end note*

All dad ever wanted
Was to be called Number One
To be considered the best father
The best role model and most fun

But all we ever gave him
Were jokes on being bald
We emptied out his wallet
And never came when we were called

And as I recline and ponder
All the abuse he ever took
It’s a wonder he’s still around
To see our crimes with no rebuke

A man with so much patience
Strength, forgiveness and rebound
Is certainly worthy of the title
And for that we are all proud
