The life of a disabled female who holds on to each event as if it were gold
Precious moments are different to each of us
Some will find treasures in out of the way places
I have found precious moments in the simple things
For my life is simple, compared to others.

The touch of a butterfly as it sat on my hand,
That was a moment which made me feel special.
I sat quietly for the longest of times
As it waved it's wings slowly but sat on my hand.

First glimpse of my babies, each a mircle to me.
For in my world it was thought to be impossible
That I could ever conceive.
But, there they were, they came on three seperate occasions
Bringing to me three precious moments.

Having a home, when I was so unsure of tomorrow.
Fighting for my place as being worth having one.
Singing my songs and watching eyes light up
Living to see grandchildren be born.

Sounds like the average life of most people
But for me these memories had for so long been a dream.
Now that I am growing old, all these moments are special
I can look back over my life and know I, too, found my place with precious moments to remember.
