The personification and emotional effects of death.
Darkness flows through a small quiet town
As the hooded shadow walks making his rounds
He came to claim - it’s his right
Even on this calm and peaceful night
A crying voice screams out in fright
For she is his victim tonight

A tear falls down a young Child’s face
For his mother left the human race
He holds her close as she grows cold
A once life-full young woman became dead and old.
A grave stone now sits where she lies
To prove life is a gift so live it wise
And always remember there may be some day,
That the hooded dark figure may come your way.
