My Mommy, One of the greatest women in the world. |
From the moment I was shot from a tube; like a torpedo from a submarine into the blue open sea. When I looked all around; I seen billions of others who were swimming and looked exactly like me. I know we all had one goal. This was to reach that special place that only one will call home. We all pushed and shoved and swam and we swam; to reach that home were a new life will begin I must tell you it was a close call. As I was side by side with another. It was almost a tie. Until I swung my tail and smacked that one right between the eyes. Going straight ahead without looking back. I picked up my speed and swam like heck. As I knew the others were close behind. I knew they would catch up to me if given the time. Well what a surprise. I found the home I was searching for. I was the first to arrive. So I entered the door and locked it behind me. I threw away the key and just sat quietly. There were no other entrances to worry about. It was now completely sealed to keep all the others out. Now I can hear them ponding all over my new house. I told them I am the winner. I told them all to go away now. As I am very very tired, I am now going to Nap. One things for certain; my tail needs a rest. From that time on. I new you were my mommy. I know you did knot know then. I was hiding within your body. I could feel your warmth and love pumping all through my blood. You took great care of me within your womb. Feeding me and keeping me worm. Most important you kept me from harm. Nine Months have gone by. I am now much bigger. To let you know I love you. I'd rube your belly with my tiny little fingers. I could tell the time was quit near. As you went to the hospital because I tossing and turning and was causing you pain instead cheer. Maybe you dint know it? but I could read your mind too. It was a little hard to make out with all the crying and tears. But it sounded something like. Hey Doc get this kid out a here! I could feel you pushing. I could feel your pain. All I kept hearing were the words push again push again! Out came my head and then my feet. Into the hands of the Doc who helped delivered me. When all of a sudden! I'm upside down, I could feel the blood rushing from bottom of my feet to the top my crown. I thought to myself? What are you doc! some kind of clown? Just when I thought the worst was over. Across my bottom there hand did cover. Not very hard I must emit. Just enough to make me cry; and to catch my first breath. Now I'm being grabbed by all of the nurse's. They are cleaning me from head to feet; Before they hand me over to the ones who created me. I am now rapped in a blanket all cozy and warm. When they hand me to you. congratulation's it's a boy! You took me home to show me off to all the family and friends. But most importantly to all the other winners. That I now call my brothers and sisters. There is so much more in between, Just remember most my life you have been my Mommy and Daddy to me. I know times had to be difficult back then. But you made it with love and seaport of many family and friends We all wish we could turn back the hands of time. To change things that happen in our life's. I know I would change some of the ways I behaved. Then you would not have as many gray hairs, As you have here your eightieth birthday. One thing I would never truly do. Is change you from being my mother. Nor change any of my sisters or brothers. Yes this includes Grand parent's, Uncles, Aunts, Cousins, Nieces and Nephews. Along with the family friends too. I'd written you all down but I must finish this soon. Thank you mom; for another winner. The birth of one other. He is the one We all call; our youngest brother. So when you are down and feeling sadly. Just remember: We are all winners within this family. I know god, He dose exists; There are many miracles he can do. If you look all around. You will know this to be true. I know this. Because he gave us the greatest mother in the world. He gave us you ! WITH LOVE YOUR SON LORENZO My Mother has passed December 14 2009 |
