A stare so blank
a heart so full
She cries at night and smiles by day.
"Keep a happy face" she says
"You can't cry, too many people who need you now."
These are the times she needs someone.
Does anyone notice?
Can anyone feel her sorrow, her despair?
I hardly think anyone cares.
So consumed in her own thoughts.
