It's about fall and the month of October
October
Distorted leaves I walk on
crumple under my feet
Winter’s coming soon
like a blinding fleet
The birds will stop chirping
and bugs will die out
The trees look so naked,
Survivals their biggest doubt
The feeling of skin so cold it’s hot
Or just no feeling at all
I hate that just like I hate to see
the leavings of colorful fall
So even before the cold begins
or the falling of cotton snow starts
The though of winter freezing my skin
has already frozen my heart.
