Asperger's Syndrome

Asperger’s syndrome is a disorder,
But I say it’s a gift,
People say stuff to put me down,
But my new found friends give me a lift.

It may make you clever,
Or maybe not as bright,
But then, we have ‘special needs’,
Your parents care about you, makes you leap with sprite.

It’s hard to act normal,
But we are unique,
We all have mental power,
Maybe not with a nice physique.

So we may have Asperger’s Syndrome,
But things are all alright,
To us it is an excuse,
To keep our friendships tight.
