I met a great new friend
I liked him right away
He really seemed to understand
Everything I had to say.

He really is a loyal friend
He’s someone I’m really glad I met
He is one of the friends
That I know I won’t forget

I really started to feel for him
And all the problems he had been dealt
When he was explaining what had happened
I felt ways that I’ve never felt.

He really is someone strong
Which is the best thing to do.
Though it really is amazing
The things that people go through.

He gives me advice for everything
He gives everything his all
I know I can always depend on him
To catch me when I fall.

He was always taught me
You never know what lies ahead
And some of the lessons to learn
Are the things that are left unsaid.

I would really like to thank him
For being there for me
He helped me look down deep inside
I now know who I want to be.
