Your life is changing can you handle it?
Your heart feels empty.
Your mind is lost.
You feel uncertain.
After all you have endoured,
the memories are there,
the thoughts all jumbled.

You sit and wonder.
You think and then,
it overwhelms you.

The sadness.
The sorrow.
They bring you into their arms,
they hold you as you cry.

As the tears run down your face,
they rock you gently.
The wind telling you it will be ok.
The time to mourn has come.
The time to end a chapter has started.

You cry harder.
The more thoughts you think,
the more overwhelming they become.
You know it will end.

The sorrow will rock you gently and
give you time to heal.
You want to stop but,
the sadness has trapped you,
it will not let you leave until
you have faced the knowledge of
what you have lost.

You must come to terms or it will not end.
You cry until you cannot cry anymore.
The tears have run dry.
The sadness is starting to fade,
it has taken its toll.

The sorrow now rocks you gently to sleep.
You must rest now,
a new begining is coming.
When you awake there will be new endeavors.
There will be things to do.

You will still feel the sadness and sorrow
however, they have overwhelmed you before and
now they will not overwhelm you for a while.

You awake, eyes swollen and red.
You wash your face and move the hair out of
your eyes.
You take a deep breath and look around,
the world is still here,
it went on while you slept.

You go to the window and look out,
the sun is out and the day is new.
Not necessarly better, but new.

You get dressed slowly,
pick up your things
and slowly walk out into the world.

A new world one with hope and feeling,
feelings other than sorrow.
You must go on to see what changes there will be.
Go and good luck.

When the sadness returns.
And it will.
You will know that it will once again restore you,
in its own strange way.

You stop on the street and look back.
You take one more deep breath and off you go.
Life awaits.
