wrote this over two years ago. Finally put it up today. Yeah I'm done now.
The longest chapter in my life took up a quarter of the book so far.
I didn’t want it to end; it had been the exciting one to date.
I kept prolonging it to the extent; any reader would put down the book.
I wanted everyone to see the chapter as I did.
Perfect so far, I want to keep this perfection the entire book but
That would mean that the chapter never ended.

Critics said this chapter should have ended four hundred pages ago.
Disagreeing I kept writing.
Finally it dawned on me
I had lost the point for some time now.
This chapter was only supposed to be TWO words
I had just gift wrapped them in a million words to prevent the core.

My delusions have wasted a lot of my book.
No more
I end chapter now. And start new
They will be to the point and precise
They will experiment and explore.
They will be anything but serious.

I feel nervous, starting a new page
Previous chapter will come up again I’m sure
However the magnitude will be less
Like recalling a childhood memory
Something laughably stupid, a good idea at the time
It’s over now, I start anew

I cannot go back and erase or edit.
We only get one draft.
