The wind blows here
And the breeze comes fast
Sadly it's known
That nothing good can last
Colors and lights
Fill this place
Fruits are ripe
The smell satisfies the taste
Yes, this garden feels like Eden
It is at its best in this season
Yet despite all the beauty in the air
Stands a red rose in loss, in despair
The rose, young and carefree stands alone
Lost its colors after the light it once shown
It stands out yet seems to blend in
Something has happened to get it this dim
The rose wants to speak
But it has reached its peak
Of ever eternal darkness
That has pushed it to hopelessness
The petals of the red rose fall
The garden around it seems tight and small
The earth it's in feels in drought
The rose is stuck, no way out.
But the wind still blows here
And the breeze still comes fast
And now the young red rose
Breathes its last
