a poem about a dying homeless person
Can you see me Karma?
I never knew you took bribes from the pockets of the wealthy
Can you see me life?
To you I am cancer....an untaxable vagrant...a drunk...the sick man...
A sickness polluting the veins of this antibiotic world

Squint

Darkness is my home now, my shelter
It keeps me safe from you.
Darkness hides a welth of misfortune
Like the truth between Karma and life
In darkness I will lie no more

See me now
cold wet
Festering my hidden hurts
Shoved off of mainstreet
because I can't pay existance fees
or interest
See me now

Black lunged toothless and hungry I wither
Leaving behind a pile of bones...a bridge side camp...The truth, Karma, and life
see me now?
