All is cyclical
One leads to the other
We live, we breathe
We love, we hate
We live without shades of grey
We dwell only in the darkness & the light.

One conceals, one accentuates
Neither serve, neither rule
They merely precede each other
Complement each other,
Complete each other.
We cannot subsist without the darkness & the light.

Both thrive,
Good & evil, love & hate.
They rule our existence
They dominate our fate.
They say one is proper but they both produce pain
They are equally destructive the darkness & the light.

They are binary,
Choices we make
Paths we take, bonds we break
As their children we must all decide,
Father or mother? Brother or sister?
The darkness or the light?
