A poem about an ex that never said, "I love you".
I remember when we held hands,
It was like you'd kissed my heart.
And those times I touched your face,
It felt like a work of art.
And your eyes so blue and pretty
Reminded me of the sea,
But I can't recall you saying
If you had ever loved me.

Oh no, you never did...

The first time I felt your heartbeat
I thought that it was my own;
But then you became cold-blooded,
Your arms no longer my home.
Why did you create this distance?
How come you're no longer here?
That time when you said you loved me,
You whispered it in my ear-

Oh no, you never did.
