Hello, my account is about to lose its upgraded membership, and I’m curious if there are still site-wide load limits placed on everyone, including writers? I don’t mind not having all of the premium options available with a free account, but I’m worried I’ll be getting “writing.com is over the limit” messages when trying to write. Is this still a problem for anybody who likes to write here?
I understand that the website needs to throttle its traffic by pausing free members and guests from viewing stories, but I think it’s incredibly counterproductive for the site to pause free member writers from writing. I currently can’t spend money on a membership, but find it incredibly frustrating that I can’t write anything without having to refresh a thousand times before the page lets me type. They’ve been numerous occasions now where I’ve totally lost the flow of creativity thanks to the site’s roadblocks for free writers. I suggest not giving writing pages the “SORRY” page in order to not impede creativity.
