This poem is something so many people can relate to, though it is a sad time to go through. I had this sense of dread for the person in the poem, but by the end I felt pretty good about where he was heading! I like that he was walking away, realistic, and not so caught up in the bad that he forgot about the good.
The tempo of the poem was pretty good. I stumbled along a little bit, but I kind of liked that; that poor guy sure was stumbling! It worked for the feeling of the poem, but not if you were aiming for classic form.
All in all, pretty good!
