Another writer who knows the art of conversation in the written word. A few little mistakes with word double ups that you may want to check over, but othewise a really nice excerpt. I loved that the 'princess' Gem is in there. If you have a look at my excerpt, you will see that Gem is an inportant theme in my book and the title of Book 1. Continue on your good work. Dragonfly.

I adored your story and your treatment of the concept itself. If I had not known I was reading about tree fairies, I would have imagined they were real enough to be my neighbours. I'm sure children will love it. Absolutely engaging. I am fascinated to know where you got your idea for this. Is this an old story retold, or all from your creative imagination? Well done.
