Great idea, but lacking everything else. There is no emotion, detail or imagery, originality, or inspiration behind the poem. No new ideas are presented. There is no rhyme scheme, which isn't bad if the poem can make up in other areas such as imagery or emotion, but this one did not. It is a statement of fact. There is no contradictory statements or anything about the U.S. military that the general population doesn't already know. Stick with the theme thought, military. It is easy to write about and can be very inspiring when properly written about.
