Review of Lost Soul  Open in new Window.
Rated: E | (4.5)
Nice and perfect. It sounds that the poem is about moan. I really enjoyed reading it, but it transferred pain to me. It’s a great play with in human field, and with nature. Some kind of reason must be told about the separation of nature and other people, it just says: They look at me as if I were a mole. Just this reason might not create such painful sadness; it is possible another reason or reasons may create such sadness. I can guess the separation of nature may take it.
A great part of many poems is about heart and love, now it says: Where my heart used to be… a question arises. Where is the heart? What happen to it? Who’s robbed it? May be you had not it even one day. Are you really soul? No answer. I want know the answers… May we must guess, but it’s better to give us some hint.
In another and positive view we can see author as human being as a candidate of all people of the world. If we see him/her as a candidate what happened to human being? What happened to the year? Where are the other months of the year? She/he tries burying our questions with the last phrases of poem. He just says:
Night has come and it's black as coal,
just a shell of a man is all that remains.
It is the end and I'll never be consoled,
please take me away from all this pain.
