How very true that is. Even more so in some, than others.... How many nights, I've had dreams filled with things beyond belief. Some have been gracious enough to present them on paper. Some better off never having touched a page at all for the sheer terror of it. One can hope for the lighter, rather than the darker images of our own personal 'Imagination Zoo.' We can only hope that the dark things are securely locked in their cages and clearly marked with a 'do not feed the darkness' clearly marked on large plaquards well in front of the cage. Continue the great imagery in your poetry. I look forward to reading more.
I've always wondered, why we can have our pets put to sleep when they are old and near dying.... Why can't the same be said and done about our loved ones, humans that is. Though perhaps what we are really having a hard time seeing is that the controversial things aren't really as controversial as we may think. Perhaps the future will be different, but until then.... Well, we'll make do with what we have. Controversial or not, this super short(flash) did grab my attention, and is better than what I could write on the same format/topic. Will be looking at your other works shortly, hopefully as well written as this one is.
