This is an amazing start. A lot of great descriptive work, and just the right amount of dialogue. Excellent spelling and grammar, and an amazing grasp of what hooks a reader. The action at the start is gripping, and you want to find out what happens next. Overall, an excellent beginning to what I imagine will be an amazing complete story.
