You know, my husband and I were thinking of getting a cockatoo until we read your story. Now, knowing how long they live, with us being handicap, we don't think we'd be able to care for it. Both of our handicapps will just get worse as the years pass. Now we think we'll just get lovebirds or finches. Thank you
