Perfectly put sentiment with perfectly formed rhyme.

What's more, count me in that number, and I hope it's growing!

Well done! Keep it up!

What a beautiful testimony to the creative process of thinking and writing.

Enjoyed the flowing, easy rhyme, filled with substance and meaning.

I'm going to print this one out & frame it!

From one writer/poet to another:
I love it, and will check out the writings of your mother. =)

It's important to remember why all are listed here.

Each one in his own way threatened what we hold so dear.

Hiroshima sent the message loud and clear: it's not ALL human life that the U.S, holds dear.

From Indochina to East Timor,
Kissinger & other war criminals go unpunished, and what's more,

All the exits were sealed when the CIA entered the White House door.

Then Waco & OK City are used to frighten and dismay
The citizens of our republic into giving our rights away.

Finally, in our present quagmire,
As the people implore Bush W. to retire
America continues to show its "might,"
Sending the world into blight and fright
While citizens at home lose even more rights,
I believe it's terror that the U.S. incites!

In short the list is hard to rate
Each man mentioned has shown some hate
For freedom, human life, liberty~
Not much of a choice you have given me.

Review of Leaving

Very stirring and moving.

The reader can relate to questions left unanswered amidst the grief of losing a loved one.

The rhyme is natural, not forced (often a difficult accomplishment).

I especially liked the lines "Did you leave because you wanted to/ Or did you need to go?"

Oh! You are the new "Erma Bombeck" and then some! What a delightful story, and one we may all learn a great deal from!

Also, bravo! on those parenting techniques; very clever & caring.

Here's hoping to read many more entries that will one day be a published book. Maybe the last line of this story could serve as a witty title?

Nice work!

Beautiful & inspiring. How often we have all felt so lost and in pain, when grace is right there beside us, if we would only become aware.

I especially like the first epiphany in the shower; the metaphor of the water (and God's grace?) washing us clean, washing away the pain and grief.

Well done!

Review of The Wind Dancer

Beautiful. Very inspiring to those of us who have already lost friends close to our age, perhaps "before their time."

I especially enjoy the references to nature in the last stanza; we are all part of the same spirit, and in nature may find this to be true, and be able to commune.

Lovely! Looking forward to reading more. =)
