Review of The Last Egg  Open in new Window.

Ahhh, I realize that this is a short story for a contest (an old one at that), but I think there is a lot of expansion potential here! There is a lot of Eragon-esque trends, so it would be really cool to see how it was different (the dragons mentally enslave or something) and the reasoning behind Ava's and Eaton's thievery. Maybe they are the villains despite being main characters, and the king is the true hero. Anyways, I will favorite this in the meantime and hope for more *Heart*

Review of Robot and Devil  Open in new Window.

I keep coming back to this poem over and over again, and I'm not sure why. But I think I'm beginning to figure it out. It's relatable, as far as poems go, and its rhymes are nice and succinct. The word choice though!!! It's simply delicious. I keep picturing this square-headed robot and this stereotypical devil sitting next to each other on a cliff overseeing a vast sea of white. And at the base of the cliff are hands, black hands reaching up to drag you in. All in all, pretty awesome (and creepy)!!!
